CALMING BREATHING TECHNIQUES
Close your eyes, breath in deeply three times, and scan every portion of your body slowly. Take deep breaths in the areas which you find hard to scan. Let your mind rest-in this moment all that matters is your body and your breath.
APPLYING WELLNESS TO ALL ASPECTS OF LIFE
What are you consuming? What types of food are you eating? What telivision shows are you watching? Being mindful of what you are putting into your brain can help alleviate some stress.
SIMPLE SELF-CARE HABITS
Get active at least three times a week. Take a walk, go to the gym, do yoga, or swim. Activity levels help with mental health. Be open to other types of therapy and know that one size does not fit all.
